FHIR & HL7v2
FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) is the emerging standard for health data interoperability. Using REST APIs, FHIR specifies a robust and extensible data model for interaction with clinical resources. iAnesthesia can use or export data from other formats to FHIR resources to simplify their integration and use in research or machine learning tools. HL7v2 is an essential communication protocol for any application seeking to connect to existing clinical systems.
DICOM is the established standard for storing and exchanging medical images and their metadata in a wide range of specialties including radiology, cardiology, ophthalmology and dermatology. Integration of imaging data is planned for the eventual centralization of patient health data.er these images.
